Nicole cooked Kale and veggie sausage patties. According to Nicole, "Kale doesn't hold water at all when you're washing it, so it's necessary to add some a couple times during cooking to keep the leaves from drying out. I also break up the frozen sausage patties once they're partly cooked so they can be mixed throughout the greens. I sometimes use olive oil to fry the patties at first, but with a good pan, it's not actually necessary. Steps: Wash a bunch of kale, cut into 1" strips, start frying (or microwave) breakfast veggie patties from TJ's, when mostly cooked, add cut kale, add water when it seems dry, and you're done when the kale is dark. ."

Nicole cooked Baked Potatoes with brie instead of sour cream. According to Nicole, "I first upgraded to using cream cheese in my baked potatoes and then tried brie - even better! I like to put a wedge of brie into my baked potatoes and eat it when it's nice and melted. The less expensive and less creamy brie is best, otherwise it melts too much and can get messy."

Andrea cooked Hungarian Paprika Chicken. According to Andrea, "Best cooking disaster yet. In this recipe you boil chicken, onions, and bacon and then you remove the chicken and blend the rest to make a sauce. I was using a higher power blender than I was used to and when I tried to blend the sauce it blew off the top and sprayed hot liquid all over me. I got the equivalent of a nasty sunburn on my chest and arms. At least we were able to salvage over half the sauce."

Andrea cooked Buche de Noel. According to Andrea, "This is a traditional French Christmas cake. The name translates to "Christmas Log" and it is supposed to represent the yule log. I decorated it with candied cherries and powdered sugar, though some people go all out to make it look like a log with icing and marzipan 'shrooms."
